IAS Administrations is a nonprofit organization contracted to provide services to the International Association of Scientologists (IAS) and to the US IAS Members’ Trust (US IMT).
The IAS is the official membership organization of Scientology. US IMT supports the charitable purposes of the IAS. The IAS was formed in 1984 with the purpose to:
Unite, advance, support and protect the Scientology religion and Scientologists in all parts of the world so as to achieve the Aims of Scientology as originated by its Founder, L. Ron Hubbard:
“A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights.”
Through the support of its members internationally, the IAS and US IMT provide grants for worldwide humanitarian and Social Betterment programs that address major social issues such as drug abuse, criminality and human rights violations. To help improve conditions in communities around the world, the IAS and US IMT also sponsor the Church’s global Volunteer Minister (VM) movement and its many public-spirited activities, including VM Disaster Response Teams providing help at disaster sites worldwide. In addition to that, the IAS sponsors the acquisition of model Scientology Churches in cultural epicenters such as London, Rome, Brussels, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Kaohsiung, Bogotá, Harlem, Inglewood, New York and Washington, DC.
IAS Administrations services the members of the IAS by administering membership cards, insignia and certificates. To keep members informed on what their contributions make possible, it publishes a bi‑monthly magazine (IMPACT), newsletters and news updates and holds regular events. It also stages gala dinners and award presentations to acknowledge members for their support. Through all its actions, IAS Administrations helps expand the size and strength of the association so it can fulfill its humanitarian aims.
